This is one of my favorite photographs. It was taken by a student during a lecture on utopian societies Heinlein gave at the Crown College of the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Here are pics of “Snowy,” or more formally known as “Nijinski Snow Storm.” He is the successor to the Heinleins’ cat Pixel, made famous by The Cat Who Walked Through Walls. The photos were supplied by David Silver with permission from Mrs. Heinlein.
