Newly elected chairman/president David Silver reports that they signed up more than 50 new members at the Torcon 3, held Aug. 3-Sept. 1 in Toronto, Canada.

Also, science fiction author Michael Flynn and the late Virginia Heinlein were awarded the first Heinlein Awards at The Heinlein Society Dinner held during TorCon.

As a matter of fact, there’s a whole bunch of Heinlein news available at The Heinlein Society Website, which as been redesigned and looks just spiffy.

I saw this while waiting in line to use the ATM. I was able to snap a picture, but I didn’t get to ask the driver if the plate had anything to do with RAH.
